Description: In this program artists will create oil pastel drawings on colored paper of animals and fantastical creatures. They will use observational drawing skills and their imaginations to create colorful and rich drawings.
These can make excellent extra pieces for portfolios. It is a fun piece to make even if your not creating a portfolio! Depending on the pace of the artist they may create more than one piece of art.
Dates: Thursdays, October 1, 8, 15
Time: 5pm - 6:45pm
Grades : 6th, 7th , 8th
Location: Kensington, Brooklyn, studio (East 7th near PS130/ MS 839)

Class size: *6 to 10 (to run a class there must be at least 6 artists enrolled)
Season: Fall 2026
