Description: In this program artists will create watercolor, colored pencil and sewn collage art of flowers and butterflies (or other insects). They will use observational drawing skills and their imaginations to create colorful and rich mixed media artworks.
These can make excellent extra pieces for portfolios, or for those not creating portfolios they are fun pieces to make! Depending on the pace of the artist they may create more than one piece of art.
Dates: Thursdays, Nov 5th, 12th, 19th
Time: 5pm - 6:45pm
Grades : 6th, 7th , 8th
Location: Kensington, Brooklyn, studio (East 7th near PS130/ MS 839)

Class size: *6 to 10 (to run a class there must be at least 6 artists enrolled)
