It’s for those interested in learning about artistic activism with a low stress, social, Saturday night vibe. For teens that are 14 to 18.
Time: 5-7pm (2 hours)
Dates: January 17, 24, 31, Feb 7.
Four, two hour classes for $40 each ($160 total) .
Snacks and supplies are provided.
What we will cover:
How to design and make a cardboard sign, knife and cutting skills, painting and lettering skills, messaging and persuasion. We will also touch on designing wearables, stickers, t-shirts and other ways to message in this moment. If there is time we will upcycle old clothes and buttons with printed and embroidered messages.
It’s in my studio on East 7th street in Kensington Brooklyn. Address will be provided after registration.
